The only way peace can prevail and you can sustain is kill you ego. Ego and Self-respect are two opposite words.Self-respect is when you compromise human values just to attain a materialistic thing.Ego is considering other's lower than yourself. I know it's easier to preach than to practice but believe me even if we practise this against few of our friends, be rest assured you are amongst the most happiest people in the world (I am not a guru or a spiritual healer! these are just my thoughts).

Take one step to kill your ego and the next step would be in paradise (of both the worlds)
